This East Hampton home sits on an expansive property covering 6 acres tucked deep into Northwest Woods. The house sits on a high point of the land with views looking down into the forest of native white pines, large black pines and oaks throughout. The plantings around the home and driveway bring elegance, color and texture to the landscape while remaining very wild in the design.

Woodland Lighting Dreams

Our approach to the lighting for the property was to tell the story of the land. Highlighting key moments in the pine grove guides your gaze down into the woodland landscape where you can see the next generation of White Pines coming in to replace the Black Pines of past generations. Soft downlighting from about leads you into the property down the winding long driveway that opens up to the house. We worked on the exterior architectural lighting to bring a beautiful welcome into the front door with highlighting stonework on the house. Concealment of lighting sources is always key in our work as well as balancing light levels and color temperature for a seamless effect in the lighting.
